About

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adults, couples, families, and adolescents. I believe in creating a space where clients can show up exactly as they are and explore what is and isn’t working in their lives. Increasing self-awareness and building on your ability to use emotions as guiding information will open the door to your most authentic self.

I am passionate about working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families struggling with eating disorders, body image issues, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, grief, and loss. I believe that therapy can create a space where these struggles can become strengths and opportunities to grow. I am an LGBTQ+ ally, a HAES advocate, a social justice advocate, and a trauma-informed therapist who believes in harm reduction.

Certifications and Expertise

I integrate therapies such as Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, and Psychodynamic while also being mindful that what each client needs is different. I believe that therapeutic modalities are important, but my priority is focused on creating a therapeutic connection with clients first and foremost.

I have received training in Psychodynamic, Group Therapy, EFT, CBT, and Family systems. I specialize in working with clients struggling with eating disorders and body image issues, depression, anxiety, grief,
loss, trauma, stress management, relational issues (including families and couples), attachment issues, and mood disorders. I have years of experience working with families and couples from a wide range of races, sizes, sexual orientation, and gender identities.

With couples, I use attachment theory and EFT to help partners deepen their intimacy, strengthen emotional bonds, and improve communication. I work with families through a family systems approach. I believe that every person in a family plays an important role within the family culture. I work to effectively address relational dynamics by fostering understanding, connection, and long-term healing within the family unit.
