About

NOTE: Providing TeleHealth/video sessions ONLY.
I believe the client-therapist relationship should be a safe space where clients feel understood and accepted while learning about themselves and how they relate in the context of a therapeutic relationship. As people do not exist in a vacuum, it is important to understand the client’s environment (including social environment and culture) and ultimately treat the client like the unique individual that they are.

I consider myself to be an eclectic therapist, incorporating approaches such as psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-based therapy. I believe it is important to help people learn new coping skills, recognize and change maladaptive thoughts, as well as gain insight into their feelings and behaviors. Since relationships are crucial to our happiness, I also help clients improve their ability to communicate and connect with others.
